Sensory testing services - professional beer tastingHow your beer tastes can tell you a lot. Sensory analysis - otherwise known as beer tasting - can help you predict the degree of commercial success you can expect to enjoy, tell you how consistent the flavour of your beer is, provide you with metrics related to your beer flavour stability, and help you track and resolve raw materials and process problems.Information generated by our highly trained expert beer taste panel can be used alongside that generated by your own beer tasters to give you greater confidence and insight in the flavour of your beers and the processes you use to make them. Dismiss any ideas that such tests are based on assessor opinion rather than fact. Beer flavour standards are used as verifiable reference materials to assure beer taster competence and performance in all beer tasting sessions. This beer tasting done properly. + Descriptive profilingA full descriptive profile of your beer. Sixty-two beer flavour attributes are evaluated for each beer. All samples are tasted in duplicate by at least six expert assessors. All beer tasting is carried out blind. Reference beers, some of which contain added beer flavour standards are included to assure taste panel performance. Results presented in a succinct, easy to understand report. Perfect for developing an understanding of existing beers and new products.
+ Quality testsA lower cost option for routine independent evaluation of your beer flavour. All beer samples are tasted in duplicate by at least six expert tasters. All tasting is carried out blind. Reference beers, some of which contain added beer flavour standards are included to assure taste panel performance. Metrics generated can be trended over time and split by beer brand and brewery to provide further insight.
+ Flavour stability testsBeer flavour stability is of considerable importance in today's demanding beer market. A prerequisite for improvement of beer flavour stability is having a reliable metric for the flavour life of the target beer. We divide a single batch of beer in two, storing one sub-batch at 0C and the other at 30C for various times. Our expert taste panel then tastes the beer samples generated. A flavour life value is generated for your beer, providing a baseline from which your improvement initiatives can be monitored.
